The First 6 Weeks
Most families spend months getting ready for the birth and only a few hours thinking about what comes after. Then the baby comes home, and the questions show up all at once. Who’s doing nights? What’s for dinner? Is this normal? When does anyone sleep?

You plan your birth. Who’s planning the six weeks after it?
The first 6 weeks postpartum shape how you recover, how you bond, and how confident you feel as a parent. They shouldn’t be something you just get through.
The First 6 Weeks is our most complete postpartum support package. We built it to carry you from the day you come home until your six week checkup.
What Families Need Most in the First 6 Weeks Postpartum
After years of supporting new parents across Northern Utah, we see the same needs come up again and again:
- Sleep. Real, protected rest so your body can heal.
- A plan. You know what’s coming before it happens.
- Organization. The house, the feeds, and the meals all keep running without you holding everything in your head.
- Clarity. Calm, evidence-based answers when you aren’t sure what’s normal.
- Fewer decisions. Someone else handles the small choices so you can save your energy for the ones that matter.
- Someone a step ahead. Support that sees what you’ll need before you have to ask.
The First 6 Weeks was designed around each of these.

How It Works
It starts before your baby arrives. We plan together ahead of time, so when you come home the support is already in place and nobody is scrambling.
Support is strongest when you need it most. The first days after birth are the most intense, and our support is too. As you heal and find your rhythm, we step back gradually, so you build confidence instead of relying on us.
Days and nights are both covered. Overnight care protects your sleep. Daytime support helps with recovery, feeding, newborn care, and the household tasks that pile up quickly.
It goes all the way to your six week appointment. You’ll go into that visit prepared, knowing what to ask and how you’re really doing.
